Dear peaceables, New Year’s Eve seems like pretty good timing for my last digest of the year. I’m putting it together at Pearson Airport as I await my flight to Chile for the first International Training Course on Popular Education in Health, being piloted by Educación Popular en Salud. This digest is dedicated to the memory of Terri Jackman, who died in November after an all too short life as a tireless fighter for human rights and an example of compassion and solidarity. My heart goes out to Terri’s family and many friends who loved and will miss her. My wish for 2010 is that everyone who ever thought of taking an action for change would actually do it. Just imagine! A happy and peaceful new year to you all, Chris |
